Chrome River Appoints Financial Software Veteran Sunil Kayiti as CTO

Chrome River, a provider of expense and invoice management solutions, has appointed Sunil Kayiti, a financial software technology leader with more than 25 years of industry experience, as Chief Technical Officer. In this role, Sunil will lead a global team of more than 100 engineers who design and develop Chrome River’s solutions, and oversee the company’s technology infrastructure.  

Prior to joining Chrome River, Sunil was Managing Director at Boston-based investment management software provider, Eze Software Group, where he led a team of more than 170 people and directed all strategy design, business vision, and innovation initiatives related to technology. Sunil previously spent 20 years in a variety of technology leadership roles at Fidelity Investments.

Sunil succeeds founding CTO Mike Vargo in the role. Mike, who has played a key role in Chrome River’s technology team for the past 11 years, is moving to a new role as Fellow, Engineering, where he will focus on ensuring that Chrome River takes advantage of the latest software engineering innovations and developments.

Sunil holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Mangalore University in Karnataka, India; an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina; and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
